Universidad Politecnica Salesiana’s branch in Guayaquil is pleased to invite professors, students, administrative staff and the overall public to take part in the “Soccer Tournament for people with disabilities”.

The aim of this event is to strengthen the inclusion of students with visual impairment in education and sports. There will be 4 teams in this tournament.

This event is being organized the Information and Communications Technologies Research Group and the FACIMAB Sporting Club with the support of the UPS students Federation, Grupo Académico de Software libre (GASOL), Fundación de Ayuda por Internet (FUNDAPI), Red Académica de Apoyo e Investigación en Tecnologías inclusivas (Red RAITI) and Federación Ecuatoriana de Deportes para personas con discapacidad visual (FEDEDIV)

The event is also to help people who were affected by the earthquake, attendees are asked to bring nonperishable goods.
