Pro bono legal clinic in our branch campus in Guayaquil

Our branch campus in Guayaquil inaugurated its pro bono Legal Clinic which will provide free legal services on Civil Law, Family, Women, Childhood and Adolescence, Labor Law, Tenancy, Constitutional, Human Mobility, Criminal Law, Domestic Violence and Administrative Law.

 

Blanca Condo, coordinator of the legal clinic in Guayaquil, stressed the values of the team that makes up the clinic. “Here we will provide defense and legal advice to low-income people and priority groups; with a dignified and humanistic treatment, with quality and warmth, respecting legal processes”, she said. 

 

Raul Alvarez, vice president of our branch campus in Guayaquil, spoke about the importance and responsibility of having a legal clinic for society. “We are committed to providing free, quality services to society, especially vulnerable sectors. We have a great team of well trained professionals who are committed to their work”, he said. 

 

Finally, Byron Perez, director of the law undergraduate program, stressed all the benefits of having the legal clinic for our students. “Here they will be able to apply what they’re learning, face real cases and gain experience”. 

 

The legal clinic is made up of Blanca Condo, Jenny Merchán, Edgar Sánchez and María de los Ángeles Cedeño. It is located in building F and attention hours are from Monday to Friday from 9am to 1pn and from 2pm to 6pm.
