Students and professors spoke about salesian education and values

The early and basic education undergraduate programs, along with the pastoral department in our branch campus in Guayaquil, organized the talk “Education for today, a talk between professors and students”. During the event, they discussed salesian education and values and philosophy of Don Bosco.
Professor Johan Méndez stressed the importance of the debate for the university community in order to reflect on education and Salesian values. He stressed that both students and teachers had the opportunity to share ideas, experiences, testimonies and experiences from a critical perspective, honoring the educational vision of Don Bosco.
The director of the Education programs, Susana Pombo, stressed the significant contribution of the conversation in terms of socialization. "This space was very valuable because it allowed us to express how Salesian philosophy is part of our personal and professional lives, strengthening our Salesian identity and values".
The conversation not only encouraged reflection on current education and Salesian values, but also promoted the integration of the university community in a constructive and enriching dialogue.
