The UNESCO chairs Assistive Technologies for Inclusive Education in our branch campus in Cuenca held the presentation of the 16th edition of the digital magazine “Juventud y Ciencia Solidaria: El camino de la investigación”. During the event they awarded certificates to students who took part in the research project: "Asistentes socialmente interactivos para el mejoramiento de la atención en niños y niñas de 6 a 8 años"

The magazine has been considered a platform for the dissemination of talent and the promotion of research from an early age. In this edition, it presents a variety of topics that range from the linguistic and cultural field to history, social sciences, public health, the global economy, and technology.

This issue includes articles that stress the cultural heritage of the Cañaris, an analysis of the Vietnam War and its current repercussions, as well as research on the knowledge of Ecuadorian scientists. These articles not only reflect the dedication and talent of young authors, but also address current problems with a critical and purposeful perspective.

The 39 students who presented their articles in this issue received recognition certificates; these students are from different high schools in Cuenca, Quito, Azogues and Cañar: José Peralta, La Salle Azogues, Brother Miguel La Salle, Salesian Technician, Sister Teresa Valsé, Santa Ana.
