Students designed digital marketing plans as part of a community engagement project
The business administration, accounting, economics and digital businesses majors from our branch in Cuenca have strengthened their commitment with society through community engagement projects with the support of the Chamber of Small Industries of Azuay; students worked with seven companies and designed Digital Marketing Plans.
Students analyzed needs, designed personalized proposals and workshops on digital tools aimed at microbusinesses. This joint effort allowed companies to strengthen their marketing strategies and adapt to the digital environment.
Thanks to the agreement between WOCCU, USAID and UPS, which ended this semester, the Business Administration Major led an innovative project that integrated the Business Advisory Program, the Entrepreneurs Club and the Finance Club.
Our university thanks CAPIA and the associated companies: Maderados Ec, Mueblería NOVOA, Talleres Mejía (FIAM), Pastificio Nilo Cía. Ltda., Ecuaminerales and A&B Consulcontri for their trust and cooperation in this project, which shows the positive impact of alliances between academia and the productive sector, strengthening ties with the community and the business sector.
