The university’s branch campus in Quito invites you to attend the conference “Next generation optical access networks: Perspectives for Latin America and Ecuador” which will be led by German Arevalo.

The conference is organized by the university’s Computing Services and Training Center; the aim is to present research results of new generation optical networks.

German Arevalo holds a PhD in engineering from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana de Colombia and is currently the director of the telecommunications engineering undergraduate program in Quito and the coordinator of the Electronics and Telematics Research Group.
