UPS professor Paola Ingavélez participated in the "II Latin American Conference on Disability Research" held in Paraná – Argentina. This event was organized by the Latin American and Caribbean University Network on Disabilities and Human Rights, Universidad Nacional de Entre Rios, Universidad Nacional del Comahue and Universidad Nacional de la Plata.

Paola Ingavélez presented the following topic: "Analysis and measurement of quality and accessibility of government websites with an emphasis on disability", which is related to research being carried out by research groups from Argentinean, Colombian, and Spanish Universities in order to create common research lines and optimize contributions for Latin America

This conference was held alongside other research related to The Human Rights for people with disabilities and minority groups Convention. There was also an agreement to work with Universidad Politécnica Salesiana's proposal on the Ecuadorian Research on Disabilities Network.
Paola Ingavélez said that it is very important to attend these kinds of events because you learn about research being carried out at other universities that belong to the Network, and above all, other universities can learn about the research on disabilities and minority groups being conducted at UPS.
