Students majoring in computer engineering in the university's branch campus in Guayaquil visited the Navy Base in Salinas to learn more about the management of telecommunications in the Ecuadorian army as well as the admissions process to become naval professionals as specialists in this area.

About 15 students were able to learn more about the telecommunications department, attend a talk on topics related to telematics and communications. They also took a tour of the navy base. 

"The aim of this visit is that students learn about the aspects related to their future profession and how they can enter the labor market", said Alice Naranjo, coordinator of the GASOL group. 

Students are very excited about visiting organizations, learning about their processes, telematics, communications, quality, and other issues.
