The mechanical engineering undergraduate program in our branch campus in Cuenca and its committee in charge of monitoring graduates organized a virtual meeting for former mechanical engineering students since the year 2000.

Jorge Fajardo, director of the undergraduate program, also spoke about the postgraduate programs in mechanical engineering which are now available. 

Bernardo Salgado, head of the community engagement department, spoke about different projects the university is carrying out in order to benefit its alumni. Paul Torres, organizer of the event, thanked everyone for participating and reminded attendees about the election of a new committee of graduate representatives.  

William Herrera, outgoing president of the committee, presented a detailed report of the activities that were carried out. Jorge Fajardo stated that these meetings will continue and that there will be more cultural, academic and social events in the near future.
