To commemorate SMEs day, the business administration program in our branch campus in Guayaquil organized a conference on artificial intelligence, digital transformation and innovation. 

Marcelo Bastidas, professor of business administration, stressed the importance of this event for students’ professional development. “The aim of the event is that students know about current topics. AI is a reality and it is here to stay, therefore it is essential to be up to date on this topic”, said Bastidas. 

During the conference, participants learned about new technologies and acquired skills which can be applied in their businesses or studies. Felipe Rendón, main speaker at this event, stressed the importance of this information for students because it can later be applied in the professional world. They are now familiar with many tools AI has to offer.
