Our university hosted the General Assembly for Presidents of Ecuadorian Universities, which was organized by the Ecuadorian Corporation for the development of research and academia (CEDIA por its acronym in Spanish). The Assembly was held in “Centro de Convenciones Baguanchi” and presided by UPS president Juan Cardenas.

During the meeting, participants from higher education institutions strengthened cooperation and commitments. They presented opportunities for scholarships and funds, which represent significant encouragement for research and academic excellence in Ecuador. They also approved important resolutions such as the evolution and development of CSIRT.

The university presidents were pleased with the results of the general assembly and stated their commitment to working hard in benefit of students, researchers and professors.

This event was not only an opportunity for decision-making, but also a demonstration of the commitment and collaboration between the country's universities and research centers. As UPS, we guarantee our commitment to the benefit of the university community.
