The communication undergraduate program in the university’s branch campus in Quito, as part of its continuing education courses “Strategies for participatory communication”, invite you to the presentation of the book JIWASA, participatory communication for coexistence, written by Adalid Contreras.

JIWASA means the two of us, the book presents an individual as two people who have become one.

The Andean term “colonial jiwasa” can also mean both interlocutors, producers of discourse, builders of meanings and of societies in social practices that are characterized by managing themselves in relationships of dispute over words, as well as of coexistence and complementary belonging to shared projects, in a permanent return to the future of a life in fullness and harmony.
