Emilio Mingues, PhD, visited UPS-Guayaquil on behalf of Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) as part of their cooperation agreement aimed at training professors at both higher education institutions.

UPS-Guayaquil Vice President Andres Bayolo Garay presided the meeting with engineering professors in order to discuss the benefits of the master's and doctoral programs being offered at UPM.

UPM supports quality research and has been accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology, said Emilio Mingues who also highlighted some of the achievements made by their masters and doctoral students.

Andres Bayolo said he will strongly support professors who are interested in taking the postgraduate programs at UPM.
