The “Friendship” scholarships between Ecuador and Peru are aimed at Ecuadorian citizens with high academic performance and low economic resources who are interested in pursuing a master’s degree in Peruvian universities and strengthening academic cooperation the exchange of knowledge between both countries.

The areas of study are: 

Agriculture, fishing, Food, metalworking and Engines, Construction, Hotels and Tourism, Environment and Energy and Mines.

 The scholarship covers 100% of travel expenses, life insurance, subsistence expenses.

The degrees are two years long and the universities are: Universidad de San Marcos, Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina, Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería and Universidad Nacional de Trujillo.

Requirements:

-    Be a natural born Ecuadorian citizen and currently live in Ecuador

-    Have a high grade point average of about 15 out of 25

-    Have low economic resources and therefore not being able to pay for the studies

-    Hold a professional degree that is recognized by SENESCYT in the following link

-    Pass the evaluation of the chosen university and have the official certificate of having been admitted to the University for Postgraduate Studies.
