“Graduates to the classroom”

The university’s electronic engineering major in Guayaquil will hold a talk which has been titled “Graduates to the classroom” whose aim is that salesian professionals share their social and work experiences with students.

The aim is to improve students’ knowledge in research and apply the knowledge they have learned in the classroom in everyday situations.

The talk will be led by Jairo Gallardo, winner of the 2016 research award from SENESCYT, and Byron Lima, UPS researcher and coordinator of the Robotics club in Cuenca.

The topics will be:

• Design and implementation of a self-sustaining telemetry prototype for monitoring water conditions and irrigation efficiency in agricultural plantations.
• Modeling and comparative study of linear and nonlinear controllers for a rotating inverted pendulum
