Theories and techniques of psychological intervention

The university’s psychology major in Quito invites you to take part in the continuing education course: “Theories and techniques of psychological intervention with boys, girls, adolescents and families” that will take place from the 6th to the 10th of March, 2017.

The course will be led Dr. Alicia Kachinosvsky from the Institute of Clinical Psychology for Children and Adolescents from the Faculty of Psychology, Universidad de la Republica Uruguay.

The aim of this course is to develop competencies in the field of psychological intervention with boys, girls, adolescents and families. During the course there will be critical reflections about common clinical problems in children and adolescents and the educational institution such as learning problems, attention deficit, autism spectrum disorder, violence and addictions.

The cost of the course is $120 for the external public, for groups of five people the cost is $100 per person and $80 for UPS alumni and professors. The course will take place in the Leonidas Proaño Auditorium, in the “El Giron” campus, from Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm.
