2. Requirements to register (new students):

  • National Students


    • Clear color photo or scanned copy of a valid Ecuadorian national ID card (cédula).
    • Photo or scanned copy of a notarized high school diploma.
    • For a maximum of one semester, a certified copy of the graduation certificate (acta de grado) or a certificate confirming that the student is completing their final year of high school may be accepted provisionally. The certificate must indicate the name of the educational institution and the high school qualification to be awarded.
    • Color photo or scanned copy of the voting certificate for Ecuadorian applicants of legal age.
    • Passport-size photo.

    International Students


    • Clear color photo or scanned copy of a valid passport.
    • Photo or scanned copy of a notarized high school diploma obtained abroad, recognized or officially validated by the Ministry of Education of Ecuador, or apostilled if the applicant resides outside Ecuador. Detailed information about the process for recognizing high school diplomas obtained abroad is available here.
    • Passport-size color photo.


    The documents listed above must be uploaded to the platform when completing your registration through the following link: https://upsalesiana.ec/insonline. If you do not have all the required documents at the time of registration, you may upload them before enrollment (course registration).

Registration will be open from May 12, 2025.

Registration (course enrollment) will begin on May 12, 2025, for newly admitted students.


IN-PERSON PAYMENT AT A BANK

You may make your payment 24 hours after completing your enrollment registration process at Cooperativa Jep, Banco del Pacífico, Banco Pichincha, or Pichincha Mi Vecino. Use your national ID number (cédula) and indicate that you are a student of Universidad Politécnica Salesiana, Cuenca Campus.


ONLINE PAYMENT THROUGH A BANKING PLATFORM

You may pay your enrollment fee through:

  • Banco Pichincha online platform: Select UNIVERSIDAD POLITÉCNICA SALESIANA SEDE CUENCA and enter your national ID number (cédula).
  • Banco del Pacífico online platform: Select CENTROS EDUCATIVOS, then UPS under Establishment, and enter your national ID number.


CREDIT/DEBIT CARD – UPS ONLINE PLATFORM

You may pay your enrollment fee by logging into your personal account at www.ups.edu.ec. Then go to Online Services → Online Payments. Payments can be made in full or in installments: 3 or 6 months interest-free, or 9 months with interest, using the following cards:

  • Place to Pay: Banco Pichincha, Diners Club, Discover, Mastercard, Visa.
  • Pacificard: Banco del Pacífico, Mastercard, Visa.
  • Regular credit: All credit or debit cards, except Alia.

IN-PERSON PAYMENT AT UPS

Quito: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. and 2:00–5:30 p.m., at the Sur and El Girón campuses.
Cayambe Campus: 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.

Cuenca: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. and 2:00–7:00 p.m.

Guayaquil: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. and 2:00–6:00 p.m., at the María Auxiliadora and Centenario campuses.

Your registration is FREE OF CHARGE. Once registered, you may make an advance payment toward your enrollment fee.

Once enrolled, your institutional email account will be activated.

Course registration is the final step in the admissions process and can be completed immediately. The process will be conducted online with support from our team.
