Sustainable development is the key to improvement

Adolfo Cazorla, professor and researcher at Universidad Politecnica de Madrid (UPM), led a talk on Sustainable Development Projects at Universidad Politecnica Salesiana (UPS); a joint activity between the United Nations and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).

The talk was aimed at students and professors of communication and business administration in our branch campus in Cuenca. The aim was that participants learn more about what organizations are doing to change paradigms on topics related to sustainable development.

Professor Cazorla explained that some of the projects are to reduce poverty, fight against climate change, improve education, equal rights for women and the design of cities. 

UPS and UPM carry out several academic activities such as: talks, continuing education courses on innovation and entrepreneurship.
