The telecommunications undergraduate program in our branch campus in Cuenca held the course "Introduction to social networks and access to telecommunication systems" which was aimed at senior citizens in the cities of Sigsig and Cuenca.

Ten students were in charge of leading the course in Sigsig for 16 senior citizens. The closing ceremony was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Social and Economic Inclusion, the vice mayor of Sigsig Patricio Huayllasca, the coordinator of the project Juan Pablo Bermeo, and Monica Huerta as a representative of the telecommunications undergraduate program.

In the city of Cuenca, the course was held in the university's computer laboratories. It was attended by 7 senior citizens. The course was led by Hilda Castillo, accounting professor, who taught participants the process of tax returns.
