The university's master's degree program in Educational Innovation held three forums led by its students to discuss social problems. Daisy Karina Padilla, guided by professor Edgar Loyola, presented the implementation of digital tools available on the web to teach Natural Sciences to 7th graders from Unidad Educativa Santo Domingo de Guzman.

She stated that there are several problems in education and that they have gotten worse due to the pandemic; problems such as students' difficulty to learn certain subjects such as natural sciences.

Esteban Costta Lucero presented the topic "Development of critical thinking in entrepreneurship class through ICTs", which was guided by Daniel Llanos.

Juan Carlos Llano, presented strategies to teach English through virtual environments in high schools.

Diego Peñaloza, head of postgraduate programs at UPS, said the aim of the forums is to present what students are learning in class and provide solutions to common problems in society.

Fernando Aviles, general vice president of UPS, stated that educational innovation is a creative action, it is not definite, it does not use a complete structure or unique procedures. It is always important to have results that are dynamic and enable positive changes.
