Our branch campus in Guayaquil and Young Living Foundation Ecuador signed an agreement that will help benefit children from the location of "Chongon", students majoring in early and basic education will be able to get hands on practice and carry out internships.

The agreement was signed by Andrea Ollague, director of the foundation, and Gloria Guillen, coordinator of the community engagement department in our branch campus in Guayaquil. The signing was also attended by Rita Recalde, in charge of community engagement for the early and basic education undergraduate programs. 

Anahi Falquez, currently a student at our university and a graduate of Young Living Academy, which is part of Young Living Foundation; suggested that both institutions could work together on projects to help people in need.

Rita Recalde stressed the importance of these activities, "these agreements allow us to carry out several projects according to what each institution requires. The parties provide their experience on different topics and also enable the development of people's skills".

The director of the foundation stated that "students are welcome to help our institution and community, there are few early education centers and it is going to be great to work together on projects that will allows us to help more children in the community".
