Our branch campus in Guayaquil took part in the 6th International Conference on Multidisciplinary Research organized by Universidad Internacional Del Ecuador. The event enabled participants to present research results and business ideas related to education and technological innovation.

During the conference, UPS professors Pedro Gonzalez and Susana Pombo presented a lecture on "Management strategies for training professors online", which is the result of the research carried out by the Education and Scientific Information Research Group. 

The research analyzes the value of experience in educational management strategies related to the conext of the pandemic and online education. It is also about university governance, pedagogical leadership and training.

"It is important to encourage our students to actively participate in research", said Susana Pombo, director of the early and basic education undergraduate program.
