For the first time, Times Higher Education (THE) has included our university in the World University Rankings 2022. This ranking evaluates the performance of universities worldwide and their contribution in the dissemination of knowledge, community engagement and meeting the needs of the university community.

Universidad Politecnica Salesiana (UPS) is currently in 2nd place along with other Ecuadorian Higher Education Institutions and ranks 1201+ worldwide. This academic accomplishment means the university is more committed to constantly improve the university. UPS is the first university from the Salesian Institutions of Higher Education to be part of this international ranking.
