Universidad Politécnica Salesiana signed an agreement with the Ecuadorian National Assembly

On June 1st, Universidad Politecnica Salesiana and the Ecuadorian National Assembly signed an interinstitutional cooperation agreement that will allow internships, academic research and training courses.

The university's vice president in Quito Jose Juncosa attended the meeting on behalf of UPS President Father Javier Herran, Lola Vasquez, director of the community involvement department, was also there. Gabriela Rivadeneira, President of the Assembly, Gabriela Ponce and Esteban Vinueza were there to represent the Assembly.

This agreement will allow students to improve their learning process in several stages, Jose Juncosa stressed the importance of the university's involvement and said "this agreement will give our students access to publically managed areas where they will learn as well as give their support". 

The assembly president said "the agreements signed with Ecuadorian universities have given us favorable experiences and they are a way of integrating the assembly with higher education institutions". She thanked the University for choosing the national assembly for students' internships and a place where professors can conduct research.
