We invite the entire university community to the presentation of the book “La Universidad: Un bien de uso común" (The university: a common good), written by Javier Herrán, Juan Pablo Salgado, José Juncosa, Paola Carrera, Ángel Torres, Luis Romero, Bernardo Salgado and Fernando Solórzano (compiler).

The book encourages people to rethink the university as commons, guided by the contributions of Nobel Prize winner in Economy (2009) Elinor Ostrom who analyzes the Governing of Commons. The evolution of institutions for Collective Action. Every article looks into the apsects of institutional identity, management, decision making and the production of knowledge.
