Our branch campus in Guayaquil held a workshop where students were given tips on how to have a successful work interview as well as care for their professional image.

The workshop was led by Gina Fuentes who spoke about her experience in the recruitment process, psychometric tests and personal image. Around 330 students attended and learned how to correctly present a resume that will cause a positive impact and also about how to have a correct behavior during an interview.

"We taught participants how to write a resume, suggested the type of photograph to use and how to dress for an interview", said Wendy Luna, director of the community involvement department.

Personal image plays an important role when attending an interview and there are certain details that must be practiced. "Candidates have 6 seconds to cause an impact on the interviewer and the resume should also have certain details that can help", said Fuentes.

This activity will prepare students for the Job Fair that will be held on September 13th, where students and alumni will have interviews with private and public companies that will be taking part of the Fair.
