The French embassy in Ecuador and the French Alliance in Cuenca awarded Andrea Garcia and Pedro Pineda, from the electronic engineering undergraduate program, a scholarship to study French. 

Nationwide, 5 people have been awarded a scholarship based on parameters such as: low economic resources, academic performance and wish to pursue a higher education program in France.

Beneficiaries are provided with study materials, personalized consultancy and economic support. Beneficiaries must maintain a minimum average of 70/100 a month and attendance of 80% so as to not lose their benefits.
