The university's branch campus in Guayaquil presented six books of poetry and stories written by students who are members of the "Literature in Movement" group.

The books are based on students' personal life experiences, each one of the students presented their books:

• "Histérica", written by Yara Delgado

• "Historias del cuerpo", by Karina Varas (Universidad de Guayaquil)

• "Observaciones que Cristóbal Colón no pudo hacer cuando llegó a América", by Jimmy Mero.

• "Los monstruos en mi mente", by José Vásquez

• "Hot-dog con maní", by Lisbeth Piloso

• "La fiebre del reflejo", by Juan Morocho (Universidad de Guayaquil)

"This is the result of work carried out during a long time, where students have been able to put everything they have learned into practice", said Augusto Rodriguez, coordinator of the literature group.

Before presenting the books, students had attended training courses and workshops on writing. "The experience of writing this book has been incredible because it contains everything that I have wanted to express", said Karina Varas.
