As part of the training sessions held in the university's branch campus in Guayaquil, the pastoral department held a meeting with professors to discuss "Don Bosco's educational concepts". This meeting was held on May 4th and was attended by 18 professors. 

The aim of the meeting was strengthen important aspects of education as well as discuss new challenges educators face today, such as technology and society which students face on a daily basis. Father Juan Cardenas told professors: "As teachers we are called to generate important changes in young people through education". 

Participants were able to freely discuss the salesian vision of education which enabled them to learn more about the philosophy of Don Bosco.
